Tela has taught both of her offspring - Pasku and Serena - how to join in her open ocean adventures with the trainers. She is a caring, protective and sweet mother.
Tela is one of the dominant females and often aligns herself with other mature matriarchs. With people, she never gets enough attention, especially through physical contact. Tela is eager to learn new behaviors and enjoys inventing interesting new sounds to the delight of everyone around.
She acquired the nickname TéTé after one of the dolphin assisted therapy children affectionately referred to her in that way many years ago.
Big dark eyes and lots of freckles on her belly, and she has a dark dot on her tongue.
