Learn about Bryde’s Whale (Balaenoptera edeni)

Head has a series of three prominent ridges from the area of the blowholes to the snout.  Body is dark gray overall.  Small curved dorsal fin located far down the back, the head and dorsal fin are usually not visible simultaneously.  Bryde’s whales are usually seen singly or in very small groups, only in deep water.
